VREF Workshop 2014: Transforming Access, Mobility, and Delivery in Cities - Turning Knowledge into Action

Three deserving Ph.D. students from our MetroFreight Center of Excellence were selected to attend the two part VREF Workshop 2014: Transforming Access, Mobility, and Delivery in Cities - Turning Knowledge into Action in New York last month. Beginning on October 26 with a student reception, Adrien Beziat and Adeline Heitz from the University of Paris – East, and Shuai (Louis) Tang from the University of Buffalo, The State University of New York participated in the VREF Ph.D. Student/Young Researcher Workshop 2014. That program took place at Columbia University and was followed by the ensuing major conference in New York City from October 28 – 30. These young researchers were given the opportunity to share highlights of their research efforts as guests of Volvo Research & Educational Foundations (VREF) for their four day stay in New York, while being introduced to experienced transportation researchers from across the globe.
