From Chicago to Paris
Takanori Sakai, a PhD student from the University of Illinois at Chicago (supervising Professor Kazuya Kawamura), spent three weeks at IFSTTAR on the Metrofreight Paris team during September-October 2015. Takanori worked with Adeline Heitz and Adrien Beziat on a comparison between Paris and Tokyo regarding the location of warehouses. Takanori benefited from receiving a VREF grant.

From Colombia to Paris
Paola Cruz, a PhD student from the University of Los Andes in Colombia spent time on the Metrofreight Paris team in November 2015. She worked with Laetitia Dablanc, a co-supervisor of her PhD (supervising Professor Juan Pablo Bocarejo), on city logistics issues in Cali and Bogota. Paola benefited from a VREF grant to spend time at the University of Gothenburg Urban Freight Platform after her stay in Paris.
