This webinar will introduce an NSF project of creating a Civil Infrastructure Systems Open Knowledge Network (CIS-OKN) to address longstanding challenges by allowing integrated representation, access, and analysis of data from multiple sources, both structured and unstructured.
This effort aims to empower stakeholders and decision makers with data analytics and AI tools to access, integrate, and analyze civil infrastructure system data to improve construction, operation, and maintenance decision making.
This webinar will be given by Lucio Soibelman, a Dean’s Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Spatial Sciences Institute, and Chair of the Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Viterbi School of Engineering, USC. His research centers on information technology for economic development and construction management, process integration during the development of large-scale engineering systems, information logistics, artificial intelligence, data mining, etc.
