Maritime and Goods Movement Research Agenda Development

Project Summary

METRANS organized and curated an invitation-only event on April 8, 2025 ahead of the 2025 Internation Urban Freight Conference, to examine “Opportunities, Challenges, and Existential Threats Across the Supply Chain.” 

This was an industry-focused event to discuss challenges in global shipping and goods movement.

Experts from ocean carriers, shippers, beneficial cargo owners, ports, truckers, railways, data science firms, commercial property investors, and international organizations were all invited to help shape a practice- centered future research agenda.
