First Stop on the Site Tour:

The Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) will host special demonstrations of the first-in-the-nation Santa Monica Zero Emissions Delivery Zone from 12:30-2:00pm on Friday, May 27. Learn how policymakers, community benefit organizations, and business entities work together in this first-of-its-kind pilot to reduce air pollution, noise and congestion while improving safety.  Lunch will be served on site. This event will be held outdoors and COVID precautions will be in effect consistent with the County of LA’s order for outdoor "open air" events. 

LACI is a nonprofit organization established in the City of Los Angeles. LACI’s mission is to create an inclusive green economy by: unlocking innovation through working with startups to accelerate the commercialization of clean technologies; transforming markets through partnerships with policymakers, innovators and market leaders in transportation, energy and sustainable cities; and enhancing communities through workforce development, pilots and other programs.

The site visit will conclude with a stop at Total Transportation Services (TTSI), a trucking and logistics company at the forefront of sustainable drayage and over-the-road trucking.  Learn about the transition to cleaner and Zero Emission trucking fleets. Get your camera ready for photo opps with hydrogen fuel cell, Phase 2 battery electric, CNG and LNG trucks; a demonstration of CNG fueling; and a mobile hydrogen fueling station.
