Join us for our Awareness level Transportation Planning & Management for Emergency Evacuations course. Gain a basic understanding of the latest knowledge in the hazard conditions for which an emergency evacuation could be an appropriate protective action strategy and get informed on resources and methods to help better plan and prepare for an emergency evacuation. Identify partners and stakeholders to form a collaborative planning team. Participate in the discussion on communication strategies to use before, during, and after a potential evacuation and identify populations which require special needs during an evacuation and learn how to plan for those needs.
