Project Objective:
The crucial need for United States and California transit agencies to identify the best management practices for improvement of their project delivery performance has been clearly identified. There is, however, no well-structured factual based benchmarking study available to recommend such management practices based on past performance data. This study aims to develop the framework for an on-going internal benchmarking study at California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) to continuously identify the best and worst management practices and to provide improvement recommendations.
