Ioannou Awarded 2016 IEEE Transportation Technologies Award

METRANS Associate Director of Research Petros Ioannou was awarded the 2016 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Transportation Technologies Award in June. IEEE awarded Ioannou for his “contributions to the design, analysis, and implementation of adaptive cruise-control systems.” For nearly a century, the IEEE Awards Program has paid tribute to technical professionals whose exceptional achievements and outstanding contributions have made a lasting impact on technology, society, and the engineering profession.
