Abstract:
The seminar will examine competition between online travel agents and its influence on airline ticket prices. What effect, if any, do websites such as Expedia, Orbitz and Travelocity have on the price that consumers pay for tickets? Does the presence of and competition between these online travel agents ensure that consumers will get a better deal?
